K-12 Programming at WindScape Brooklyn
At the center, students are introduced to the complexities of thinking like a scientist, from direct observation to hypothesis, testing, and analysis.
School field trips are available for grades K-12 and can accommodate up to 30 students at a time. We offer field trips on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am to 12pm. Make a request today through our updated reservation portal!
WindScape Labs
At WindScape Labs—our groundbreaking partnership with Sunset Park High School—high school seniors embark on an exhilarating journey into the world of offshore wind. We don’t just raise awareness; we seek to inspire students to explore careers in offshore wind and related industries through mentorship, self-discovery, and hands-on experiences.
Our program features dynamic meetings, collaborative creative projects, and direct exposure to industry professionals. With WindScape Labs, we’re not merely preparing local youth for the future; we’re integrating them into the renewable energy and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) career ecosystems.
